How we started
Anthony Smith and Steve Cable incorporated Quality Corals UK. Their main goal is to establish a good reputable company that the aquatic community will recognise and trust.
They have both been interested in aquatics since a young age and have had many aquariums including cold water, tropical and marine.
Anthony worked at various local fish stores over the years and has dreamt about starting an aquatics business ever since. Steve has always had a passion and a keen eye for business as well as fish keeping, so what better than to team up and provide a quality service to the aquatic community.
Together they have over 50 years experience in aquatics. Whilst keeping Marine aquariums, they realised it was hard to source good quality corals, both in stores and online at reasonable prices. They also found that the local fish stores had a very limited selection of livestock. This has driven them to incorporate Quality Corals UK, to provide a good selection of quality livestock at discount prices.

The team at Quality Corals UK share a huge passion for Aquatics. Their ultimate goal is to provide healthy, quality livestock and great customer service.
They are very particular with the water quality, whilst maintaining optimum living conditions. They use a 5 stage RODI unit with a in line digital TDS meter to ensure the RO water has absolutely 0 total dissolved solids in all water used throughout our systems. They use Red Sea Coral Pro Salt (Salinity 1.025) & dose Red Sea Nutrients. Quality LED lighting is used on all the tanks which ensures the livestock is displaying all its natural colours.
They have two large separate systems and separate locations, which enables them to temporarily house new livestock and monitor health prior to despatching to you. This ensures they are healthy, disease and pest free.
Quality Corals UK have ethically sourced the livestock from various exporters from around the globe to bring you an amazing selection of corals, and at a fraction of the price you’ll pay in your local fish store.

All items are packaged with sufficient padding, heat pack and insulation.
All our livestock have a Perfect Health Arrival guarantee. However for the following reasons, we cannot guarantee beyond that. A number of reasons can effect livestock settling into it's new enviroment, these range from the following:
* Unstable water conditions - Incorrect PH, high ammonia, nitrite, nitrate & phosphate levels, salinity etc.
* Tank bullies - Some marine fish and coral are passive aggresive and will not mix well with more boisterous tank mates.
If you do have any problems when the livestock arrives, please contact us straight away. With prompt photo evidence, we will ensure a full refund is given if a replacement cannot be provided. However you must contact us on the arrival day to activate the guarantee.
